The Manbhar Swach initiative is a transformative solution to solid waste management challenges in a slum in Delhi. It aims to create a behavioral shift in the community through education on the importance of source segregation and establish a decentralized waste collection, transportation, and processing system to improve waste recovery and reduce landfill waste. The initiative also integrates the informal sector through training, livelihood opportunities, and formal employment, creating a sustainable and just waste management system. The initiative has the potential to make a significant positive impact on the community and serve as a model for other communities facing similar waste management challenges.

Uboontu aims to promote menstrual hygiene and education to young girls to prevent discrimination and missed opportunities. We provide sustainable awareness on menstrual health issues through interactive sessions in primary schools for girls aged 9-13 years. Their sessions dispel myths and restrictions surrounding menstruation. We have also conducted Menstrual Hygiene and Education sessions in slum communities to make them accessible to all young girls. Our efforts have reached out to 55,000 girls and aim to promote a healthier and more equitable society.

We run a social enterprise program called 'SWAROZGAR' to empower women. Women are taught Candle Making, Soap Making, Art, and Craft, which provides work readiness and independent living skills. The program creates opportunities for women to help their families escape poverty by providing self-employment and entrepreneurship skills. The foundation employs youth to participate in fairs and markets and pay them a stipend, sustaining their initiatives for the community and creating opportunities for women to learn, earn and prove their worth in society.
